PUBLIC NOTICE

Governor JB Pritzker’s Executive Order 2021-05, as amended and extended, limits meetings to the lesser of 25 persons or 25% of the overall room capacity. Governor JB Pritzker’s Executive Order 2021-05, as amended and extended, requires that public bodies take steps to provide video, audio, and/or telephonic access to meetings. The CDC recommends social distancing of at least six feet between persons. To comply with these recommendations and requirements, this Police Community Relations Advisory Committee Meeting is being held via Zoom, while still complying with the spirit of the Open Meetings Act.

  • A Virtual Advisory Committee on Police Community Relations Meeting will be held on April 8, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom.
  • If you’d like to attend and participate in the meeting, please email Christina Kirby at ckirby@peoriagov.org or call at 309.494.8335 and you will be provided with further instruction.
  • After the Police Community Relations Advisory Committee Meeting, a video recording will be posted on the City of Peoria YouTube Chanel at https://www.youtube.com/user/c...
  • Anyone that cannot attend the Police Community Relations Advisory Committee Meeting can send their comments to Christina Kirby by 12:00 p.m. on April 8, 2021 via email at ckirby@peoriagov.org. The email should be labeled “Comment for April 8, 2021 Advisory Committee on Police Community Relations Meeting,” and we ask that you include your name and contact information. Live comments will be given priority to electronically submitted comments.
