Peoria Bomb Squad At Building Where Flammable Device Found
Officers, bomb squad on scene of Pekin building where a flammable device was found.

PEKIN, IL — The Peoria Bomb Squad and several other police agencies are investigating the scene at a building near 13th and Broadway in Pekin. WMBD reported Pekin Public Information Officer Billie Ingels said officers discovered what's believed to be an "incendiary," or flammable device while executing a search warrant at that address. That's when they called in the bomb squad.
According to the news report, Ingles said officers evacuated the area around the building as people were inside when officers arrived with the search warrant.
Officials have not said where they found the device, WMBD reported.
