Peoria Public Works Prepare For Weekend Snow
Crews will revert to filling potholes and making snow prep efforts in advance of Sunday's forecast snowfall.
Peoria Public Works Snow Fighters are finished plowing residential side streets and alleys. Today, Friday, February 19, crews will revert to filling potholes and making snow prep efforts in advance of Sunday’s forecast snowfall.
The storm system Sunday and Sunday night could bring anywhere from one to three inches (1-3”) of snow to the area. At this time, the amount of snow is uncertain, though the better chances of accumulation appear to be along and north of a Macomb to Bloomington line. Snow Fighters will be on standby on Sunday, February 21, to address the snowfall as it arrives.
