Rail Crossings Closed On Elmore Road

Press release from the Peoria County Government:

Starting Tuesday, April 13, 2021, BNSF Railcorp will be shutting down rail crossings on North Brimfield Road and Elmore Road in Millbrook Township near Laura. The crossing on North Brimfield Road will be closed for one day through Tuesday, April 13. The crossing on Elmore Road will be closed for two days and will reopen by end of day on Wednesday, April 14.

The closures are necessary for railroad crossing repairs. Motorists are asked to seek an alternate route if traveling through the area.
