Special Peoria City Council Meeting Scheduled For May 4
Due to COVID-19, seating is only available for invited guests.
Peoria, IL – (APRIL 22, 2021) To bid farewell to the outgoing City Council and to swear in the incoming elected officials there will be a special City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 4 at 6:00 p.m. Due to the current mitigations as set forth by IDPH for Peoria County and the State, there are capacity limitations in the building. Therefore, the ceremony is open to invited guests only. Capacity in City Hall has been restricted since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to be observed for the public health and safety of all.
The public has an option to watch the live stream from the YouTube channel from the Peoria Civic Center where there will be limited seating available on a first come, first serve basis.
