Woman Dies In Multi-Vehicle Car Accident In Peoria
The Peoria Fire Department responded to the area of the 2900 block of N Sterling Avenue Tuesday for a multi-vehicle crash.
On Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Peoria Police, AMT, and the Peoria Fire Department responded to the area of the 2900 block of N Sterling Avenue in Peoria regarding a multi-vehicle accident.

Four individuals were transported via ambulance to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
Katherine King, 25, of West Peoria, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at 9:13 p.m. by the Peoria County Coroner.

Autopsy performed on Wednesday, May 5, demonstrated that King suffered multiple blunt force trauma injuries that were inconsistent with life and died instantly. Toxicology testing is pending by state statute.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the Peoria Police Department Traffic Unit.
