More Than 213K Will Co. Voters Have Already Cast Their Votes

WILL COUNTY, IL — More than 213,000 Will County residents have already voted ahead of the Nov. 3 elections. According to the Will County Clerk's Office, as of 10:39 p.m. Monday, the office had received a little over 125,000 requests for a mail-in ballot with over 101,000 of those ballots having been returned.

Voters have until Tuesday to postmark their ballot. A little over 111,000 residents had voted early in-person in Will County as of Monday. The total number of voters in the county are 463,465, meaning that about 46 percent have already cast their votes.

During the 2016 general election, county residents had cast about 306,000 votes, making up for 75 percent of more than 411,000 registered voters that year.

Not all ballots will be counted by election night as ballots received after Sunday and provisional ballots will be counted after Tuesday. The final election results will not be known until Nov. 17.
