Aman Announces FREE Covid -19 Vaccination in Plainfield

AMAN, American Muslims Assisting Neighbors, is collaborating with St. Jude Pharmacy, Joliet to offer 100 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. This is a one dose vaccination.

The vaccines will be offered on April 15, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 6 PM at the Plainfield Township Community Center on 15014 Des Plaines St. in Plainfield. Last appointment will be for 4 PM.

"People are encouraged to register early as only 100 doses will be available" said Mohammed Faheem, President of AMAN, a Plainfield based not for profit. "If the demand exceeds supply, we will try to arrange a second session next month depending on the availability of more vaccine" he added.

Staff from St. Jude Pharmacy will provide and administer the vaccine. Anyone over 18 years of age are eligible. Insurance is not required but photo identification should be provided when you come. If you do have insurance, please bring a copy of the card on the day of the event.

You must register on line at www.amaninc.org. Registration will close at the end of the day on April 12 or when 100 people are registered. An AMAN volunteer or St.Jude staff member will respond to you with a time for your vaccination.
