Apple Cider Donut Truck Coming To Plainfield Thursday

PLAINFIELD, IL — A brief taste of autumn is coming to Plainfield June 24. For three hours, the Little Red Donut Truck will be parked in the Aspen Falls and Clearwater Springs subdivision selling apple cider doughnuts and fresh-pressed cider slushies made on-site.

The truck will be parked from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Breaks Court, near Aspen Drive and Twin Falls Drive within the subdivision.

A slushie at the truck costs $3, and doughnuts are priced at $8 for one dozen, $15 for two dozen and $20 for three dozen. Customers can watch through the truck's window as the mini delights are made fresh and hot.

The Little Red Donut Truck brings goodies "from the orchards to the streets," as its website says. The owners used to have an apple orchard, according to its website, and went mobile after their apple cider-flavored mini doughnuts became "wildly popular."
