CAPE Candidate Forum Canceled Due To Weather

Officials say the Board of Election candidate forum will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A Board of Election candidate forum scheduled for Tuesday evening is cancelled due to weather. Organized by District 202's CAPE parent organization, the event will be rescheduled as soon as possible, officials said.

CAPE, which stands for Coordination of Administration and Parent Groups For Educational Efficiency, comprises parents and district administrators representing each of the district's schools and parent organizations. The group traditionally hosts a candidate forum to give residents a chance to meet and question school board candidates, officials say.

This year's candidates include incumbents Kevin Kirberg and Heather Drake and challengers Joette Doyle and Les Miller.
