CAPE Candidate Forum Rescheduled For Feb. 21

If you can't make it, a recording will also be available on the district's website.

PLAINFIELD, IL — District 202's CAPE organization will host a public forum for Board of Education candidates at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at the district's administrative center on Howard Street. The event was originally scheduled for Feb. 12, but cancelled due to severe weather.

CAPE, which stands for Coordination of Administration and Parent Groups For Educational Efficiency, comprises parents and district administrators representing each of the district's schools and parent organizations. The group traditionally hosts a candidate forum to give residents a chance to meet and question school board candidates, officials say.

This year's candidates include incumbents Kevin Kirberg and Heather Drake and challengers Joette Doyle and Les Miller.
