CAPE School Board Candidate Forum Scheduled For Feb. 12

If you can't make it next Tuesday, a recording will also be available on the district's website.

PLAINFIELD, IL — District 202's CAPE parent organization will host a public forum for Board of Education candidates Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m. The event will be held at the district administrative center at 15732 Howard Street in Plainfield. Officials say a recording will also be available on the district's website.

CAPE, which stands for Coordination of Administration and Parent Groups For Educational Efficiency, comprises parents and district administrators representing each of the district's schools and parent organizations. The group traditionally hosts a candidate forum to give residents a chance to meet and question school board candidates, officials say.

This year's candidates include incumbents Kevin Kirberg and Heather Drake and challengers Joette Doyle and Les Miller.
