Buresh, a Romeoville resident, said he hopes to open the Cheesecake Store & Cafe in November. The business is scheduled to open in a storefront at 14210 Route 30.
“I will offer soups, salads (and) wraps, all made with hormone-free meats and natural ingredients, LaVazza coffee, organic teas and sodas, and of course, cheesecake,” said Buresh, who is a frequent feature of the annual Plainfield Farmers Market.

In addition to his famous cheesecakes, Buresh has become known for his cheesecake jars — a ready-to-eat cheesecake baked into a portable jar.
Buresh, who originally sought a Romeoville location to house his cheesecake-making operations, ultimately wound up choosing Plainfield for his new business.
“I picked Plainfield for it’s great business resources and variety of open restaurant spaces to choose from,” he said.
The future site of the Cheesecake Store & Cafe is located near Route 30 and 143rd Street.
