Local students make Illinois Wesleyan University's spring 2021 dean's list

Illinois Wesleyan University's Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year consisted of 801 students from 30 states and 15 countries. The following local students made the list:

Fernando Chavez, of Plainfield, Illinois, a sophomore majoring in Design Tech & Entrepreneurship.

Abigail Edwards, of Plainfield, Illinois, a junior majoring in Psychology.

Jake Mahaffey, of Plainfield, Illinois, a senior majoring in Computer Science.

Emily McMicken, of Plainfield, Illinois, a sophomore majoring in Psychology.

Anna Sheaffer, of Plainfield, Illinois, a first-year majoring in Psychology / Computer Science.

Isabella Welsch, of Plainfield, Illinois, a first-year majoring in Biology.

Plainfield student earns dean's list honors at The University of Tampa

Jessica McNeill, of Plainfield, Illinois, earned dean's list honors at The University of Tampa for the Spring 2021 semester. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.

Plainfield student Alyssa Culbertson earn's dean's list recognition for spring semester at Elmhurt University

More than 900 students at Elmhurst Univeristy were named to the dean's list in the spring 2021 semester. Alyssa Culbertson of Plainfield was among them. The Dean's List is composed of students who during the term concerned, attained a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher (out of a possible 4.00).

More than 6,800 Huskers, including Plainfield students, named to University of Nebraska-Lincoln's spring dean's list

More than 6,800 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the Deans' List for the spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year.

Qualification for the Deans' List varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center. Listed below are the minimum requirements for each entity and the name of its respective dean or director. All qualifying grade-point averages are based on a four-point scale and a minimum number of graded semester hours. Students can be on the Deans' List for more than one college.

• College of Arts and Sciences, 3.7; Dean Mark E. Button.

• College of Engineering, 3.5; Dean Lance C. Perez.
• College of Journalism and Mass Communications, 3.7; Dean Shari Veil.
• Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts, 3.7; Dean Charles O'Connor.
• Explore Center for undeclared, pre-engineering, pre-health and pre-law students, 3.6; Senior Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Undergraduate Education Amy Goodburn.
