COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic in Plainfield cancelled
Pending Green Light from the CDC and FDA
The CDC and FDA today have urged a pause on the J & J Covid vaccine over six reported US cases of a 'rare and severe' blood clot.
"Out of abundant caution we have decided to cancel the vaccination clinic till the CDC and FDA give the green flag." said Mohammed Faheem, President of AMAN (American Muslims Assisting Neighbors).
"Meanwhile, if you have underlying conditions and would like to get the Pfizer vaccination this week, you can contact St.Jude Pharmacy in Joliet directly at 815-900-9000 and they will assist you" he added.
