District 202 High School Science Fair Is Saturday
The event is free, but donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital will be accepted.

PLAINFIELD, IL — District 202 will hold its inaugural science fair this weekend. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 26, from 7 a.m. to noon. Organized by Plainfield North senior Nick Lowe, the event is free and open to the public, but donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital will be accepted.
The science fair is open to students from all grades at Plainfield High School - Central Campus, Plainfield South High School, Plainfield North High School and Plainfield East High School.
Competitors will begin setting up their projects at 7 a.m., with judging to begin at 8:30 a.m. Judging is closed to the public.

The public will be able to view projects starting around 10 a.m. or whenever judging is complete, officials said. An award ceremony will follow.
