Domestic Battery, Vandalism, DUI: The Latest Plainfield Arrests
As in every case, charges are merely accusations, not proof of guilt.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Police in Plainfield have updated their arrest reports for November and December, and charges include domestic battery, vandalism, disorderly conduct and the ever-popular DUI. Here's the latest from the Plainfield PD.
Twenty-year-old Sarah Ivy, of Plainfield, was arrested Nov. 3 for domestic battery. She was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Jane Young, 37, of Plainfield, was arrested on Nov. 3 for criminal damage to property and domestic batter. Police reports listed the same address as Sarah Ivy. Young was also transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Paris Despenza, 24, of Aurora, Illinois, was arrested Dec. 17 on an in-state warrant. He was initially pulled over for driving with only one headlight and was also cited for having an expired registration, police said. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Lea Farhoudeh, 21, of Markham, Illinois, was arrested Dec. 18 for retail theft, possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis, aggravated attempt to elude a peace officer, reckless driving and several motor vehicle violations, including failure to signal, improper lane usage, driving without a valid license, operating an uninsured vehicle, and violating at traffic sign. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Ninteen-year-old Meikel Weatherspoon, of Matteson, Illinois, was arrested Dec. 18 for retail theft, aggravated attempt to elude a peace officer, driving without lights, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, violating a traffic signal, failure to signal and reckless driving. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Lloyd Caston Shakespeare, 29, of Oak Lawn, Illinois, was arrested Dec. 21 for battery. He was released on personal recognizance.
Alexander Taylor, 25, of Aurora, Illinois, was arrested Dec. 22 for criminal damage to property, driving with a suspended license and an outstanding in-state warrant.
Forty-year-old Wanakone Voravong, of Joliet, was arrested Dec. 22 on an outstanding in-state warrant. Voravong was released after posting bond.
Melanie Reed, 23, of Plainfield, was arrested Dec. 22 for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was released on her own recognizance.
Daniel Miller, 52, of Riverside, California, was arrested Dec. 23 for battery and disorderly conduct. He was issued a notice to appear.
Troy Miller, 22, also of Riverside, California, was arrested on Dec. 23 for batter and disorderly conduct. He was also issued a notice to appear.
Rebecca Mollinedo, 31, of Plainfield, was arrested Dec. 23 for battery, disorderly conduct and "disturbance/disputes." Arrest records show she was arrested at the same address as Daniel and Troy Miller listed above. She was also issued a notice to appear.
Manuel Jurado-Perez, 33, of Crest Hill, was arrested Dec. 26 on an outstanding in-state warrant. He was also charged with Operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond.
Darnell Michael Tayor, 43, of Plainfield, was arrested Dec. 26 on an outstanding in-state warrant. He was also charged with a domestic dispute and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
