The shop, 24041 W. Lockport St., is now known as “Sweet Pea & Me Boutique,” offering clothing for infants, toddlers and women, as well as accessories and gifts.

Both businesses are longtime downtown Plainfield staples; Sweet Pea has been open for nearly 14 years, and Have to Have for nearly a decade.

The newly merged shop was taken over by new owners earlier this year: longtime Plainfield residents Connie Sanfilippo and daughters Josie Sanfilippo, Sandy Waters and Gina Sanfilippo.
