Dryer Catches Fire In Home: Plainfield Fire Department

The fire was extinguished in about five minutes, and there was no structural damage to the house.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A dryer caught fire in someone's home on the 11300 block of Belmont Drive in Plainfield. The fire department responded to a call about a possible house fire and were able to extinguish it in about five minutes.

The dryer was quickly removed from the house. The fire department said no one was hurt and there was no structural damage to the house.
