Eastern Avenue Closed In Plainfield Due To Water Main Repairs
Officials say Eastern Avenue is closed from the railroad tracks to Lockport Street. It's not clear when it will reopen.
PLAINFIELD, IL — Police in Plainfield say Eastern Avenue is closed from the railroad tracks to Lockport Street due to a water main repair. Indian Trail Middle School traffic should use Route 126, officials say.
There is currently no timeline for completion of the repair.
The railroad crossing near Lockport and S. Miles Streets is also closed due to repairs, so expect delays there too.
