Today bands all over the country are raising awareness about their marching programs. Since Plainfield North high school opened in 2005 hundreds of students have participated in marching band as members of the Marching Tigers.

PNHS Band Boosters is a not-for-profit organization of volunteers with the sole function of providing support to the PNHS band programs. Our program provides a unique opportunity for students to participate in a team environment with both student mentors and faculty support. Creating, choreographing and ultimately fielding a competitive marching band of the size and caliber of the Marching Tigers requires a great deal of financial and volunteer support from our community. Each year more than 150 marching band members present their program at local PNHS football games as well as competitions throughout Illinois. The funds that we raise directly support needs such as: show design, staff payments, transportation costs, uniforms, equipment, props and contest day meals. We must raise in excess of $50,000 annually to offer this program to our student community. You can learn more about our program at our band website:
