Letter: Organizers Thank 8th Annual Run For The Brave Supporters

There are so many thank you's to deliver after the 8th Annual Run For The Brave 5K on May 25.

First a very, very special thank you to Plainfield North High School for hosting the big event. Without PNHS the race would not happen.

Thank you to each and every sponsor, patron and volunteer. A big shout out to each and every registrant who supports our cause of helping veterans in need.

Special guests: Gold Star Parents Robert & Mary Heitmann, Sgt. 1st Class (Ret.) Cassandra Taylor, JoEllyn Caulfield and OEHS Nothing But Treble and The Caulfield Voice Studio, CBS 2 Investigative Reporter Dave Savini, New Lenox Mayor Tim Baldermann and Congressman Bill Foster.

Everyone who ran for the brave supporting the servicemen and women who put their lives on the line to protect our freedom.

We, the team of Donna, Judi, Gina, Mike, Julia and Jim appreciate all the thank yous given to us the day of the event and every day after but without all of you it would not have been possible.
