Operation Welcome You Home To Hold Rock 'N' Roll Veterans Benefit
All proceeds will benefit Illinois veterans, so kick off your Sunday shoes and get tickets here.
PLAINFIELD, IL — Operation Welcome You Home, which sponsors a 5K "Run for the Brave" every year on the Saturday before Memorial Day, will hold a "Good Ole Fasion Rock 'N' Roll Dance" next month to benefit Illinois Veterans. The event is scheduled for Feb. 23, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., at the American Legion Marne Post 13 in Plainfield. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, and include food, dancing (of course) and a cash bar.
The event is sponsored by Mission BBQ, White Castle, Culver's Plainfield and the American Legion. Music will be provided by Saturday Knights, an all-veteran band.
Officials say prizes will be available for the best dressed.

Active duty military personnel and veterans are invited to be guests of honor by calling Donna at 630-302-2638 or Judi at 630-341-1222 to RSVP. Military ID is required.
