Pace announced the cancellation of its 855 East Loop Service to Bridgeview Transit Center this weekend, amid a number of other changes.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Earlier this past weekend, Pace announced the temporary suspension of route 855 Plainfield - East Loop trips serving the Bridgeview Transit Center. The suspension of service will begin Monday, April 20, and will continue until further notice. No other route 855 services are suspended.

The suspension of service to the Bridgeview Transit Center is part of the preventative measuresPace has recently taken in response to the new coronavirus pandemic. Pace buses will no longer stop at any properties that have been closed due to coronavirus concerns. Pace riders are also asked to wash their hands before boarding a bus, and to practice social distancing as much as is possible while aboard.

Route 755 Plainfield - West Loop service is currently operating normally, except for the aforementioned cancellation of stops at properties closed due to coronavirus concerns.
