Pet Expo 2018 Hosted By Plainfield Park District, Bertino-Tarrant
Head over to Clow Stephens Dog Park and get information on resources for you and your four-legged friend.
PLAINFIELD, IL — The 4th Annual Pet Expo is set for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 12 at Clow Stephens Dog Park, 16650 S. Lily Cache Road in Plainfield. Hosted by State Senator Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant and the Plainfield Park District, the event will include information and products from pet-centric businesses and organizations from pet groomers, and doggie day care to veterinarians and pet photographers. You can also learn more about all-natural pet foods, animal rescue organizations, and emergency preparedness for your pets. A supply drive benefitting the Will County Humane Society will be held the day of the event and information about Plainfield Park District programming will also be on hand.
Also featured are K-9 police officer demos, pet trick demos, a peanut butter licking contest (for dogs), and strolling mascots including the Pampered Puppy, Spike from the Joliet Slammers and the Plainfield Park District’s own Scout!
A prize raffle sponsored by Senator Bertino-Tarrant will also be held the day of the event.
