Plainfield Group Holding Fundraiser to Distribute CO Detectors for Holidays
The fundraiser is in memory of a mother and daughter found dead in their home from carbon monoxide poisoning.

PLAINFIELD, IL — After the tragic deaths of two Plainfield women due to carbon monoxide poisoning, the Plainfield Women of the Moose is holding a fundraiser to buy 300 carbon monoxide detectors.
The goal is to raise $7,500 by Dec. 13 so the detectors can be distributed in time for the holidays.
Morgan D. Becker, 29, and her mom, Denise Carlini, 65, were found dead in a home in the 12700 block of Shelly Lane Monday after police conducted a welfare check. Police also found three dead animals.

During the incident, five Plainfield police officers were taken to Rush Copley Hospital in Aurora for exposure to carbon monoxide.
“Denise and Morgan would want us to save as many lives as possible and the Plainfield Women of the Moose have set up this GoFundMe in their loving memory,” the GoFundMe page said.
