Plainfield Man Killed In I-55 Rollover: Coroner
The 42-year-old was pronounced dead just before 1 a.m. Sunday in Troy Township.
PLAINFIELD, IL — A Plainfield man was killed early Sunday in a one-vehicle crash on I-55 near Shorewood in Troy Township, according to the Will County Coroner. Jose Ramon Flores-Jimenez, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The Will County Coroner's office said Flores-Jimenez was the driver of a vehicle that was heading north on I-55 when it left the road near milepost 254, struck an object and rolled over.
Flores-Jimenez was pronounced dead at 12:56 a.m.

Illinois State Police are investigating the crash. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
The final cause and manner of death will be determined pending the final review of police, autopsy and toxicological reports, the coroner's office said.
