Ottawa Street Pool: What To Know For Summer 2021

The Ottawa Street Pool is set to open on May 29.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Ottawa Street Pool is set to open on May 29.

The pool’s regular schedule, starting June 5 will be:

Monday – Friday: Noon to 2 p.m., 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 1:30-3:30 p.m; 4 p.m.-6 p.m.

Cost for a daily entrance pass is $5 for 2-hour swim sessions

Currently, entrance to the pool will be via online registration through our website.

Season pass holders can register for a time slot 3 days ahead. Daily pool users can register 2 days out. Walk up entrance will only be available if the facility has not reached its capacity limit.

What if the Pool Closes?

In the event that the pool is closed due to inclement weather or low turnout, the Park District will alert residents of the closure as soon as possible at the top of our website, plfdparks.org. Look for pool closure info in the blue bar at the top.

In addition, residents can go to our Facebook page where an announcement will be available at the top if the facility is closed.

Sign up for Text Alerts

Residents can also sign up to receive pool closure status updates on their phones by texting “OSP” to (833) 222-3024.

No status update during regular pool hours on either the website or Facebook or via text message means that the pool is currently open.
