Plainfield Police Identify Motorcyclist In Reckless Driving Case

PLAINFIELD, IL—The Plainfield Police Department has identified the motorcyclist behind a recent reckless driving case. Justin Kalcic, 28, of the 1300 block of Brandywine Circle, Batavia, was charged May 1 for aggravated fleeing, among other offenses.

As the Patch previously reported the Plainfield Police Department shared a social media post last month where it sought the public’s help in identifying a motorcyclist.

Since then, the Plainfield Police Department has shared a post giving thanks to everyone who provided information about the identity of a motorcyclist who fled from police on April 25.

Around that time, police said they observed a motorcyclist make several traffic violations in the area of Route 30 and 143rd Street. When an officer attempted to stop the subject, he fled into the Harvest Glen subdivision.

Since then, officials said the police department has been able to forward video and all other evidence to the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office.

“There have been charges approved through the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office, and there is an arrest warrant,” Plainfield police Sgt. Mike Fisher said.
