An episode of “Carnival Eats” featuring last summer’s Oswego PrairieFest will air at 9 p.m. Thursday, with a 1 a.m. re-run on Friday, Nov. 21.

The show features some of the vendors at the fest, including Marcus Mooney of Frank’s Night Out. The Plainfield restaurant, which features gourmet hot dog creations, burgers, sausages and more, was part of the June 12-15 fest in Oswego.
“Carnival Eats” is a Food Network Canada/Cooking Channel show featuring host Noah Cappe, who travels North American looking for the best offbeat foods and carnivals and fairs.

The Nov. 20/Nov. 21 episode features the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as well as Oswego’s PrairieFest.
According to the show’s website, after a stop in Toronto, ”it’s off to PrairieFest in Oswego, Illinois, where Noah indulges in a Chicago-style Beef and Sausage extravaganza, a Kimchee Korean Dog and some homemade Churros with Deep Fried Ice Cream.”
