Plainfield Road, Closed Due To Water Main Break, Now Re-Opened

Plainfield/Naperville Road was closed between Ash and Mill Streets due to a water main break on Wednesday morning. It is now re-opened.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A water main break closed Plainfield/Naperville Road between Ash and Mill Streets to all traffic, Plainfield Police said on Twitter at around 10:10 a.m. Wednesday morning. All drivers were encouraged to seek alternate routes around the closed road.

UPDATE: Plainfield Fire Chief Jon Stratton has reported that Plainfield/Naperville Road was re-opened at approximately 12:30 p.m. It is now clear for all traffic

The water main break has also been mended.
