
PLAINFIELD, IL — Plainfield South High School will honor four individuals at its inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2018 in the main gymnasium, 7800 W. Caton Farm Road.
The first PSHS Athletic Hall of Fame inductees are:
- Tom Hensel, who was the first principal of PSHS.
- Wayne DeSutter, who was the first athletic director at PSHS.
- Jake Winder, a 2006 PSHS graduate who participated in track and field and cross-country. Winder set school records for the indoor and outdoor pole vault. He also was the first state champion from PSHS.
- Ethan Hollingsworth, a 2005 PSHS graduate who played baseball. He played minor league baseball and was drafted by Major League Baseball’s Colorado Rockies.
The ceremony is free to the public. Attendees also can buy a dinner ticket for $15. The catered dinner is from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Dinner reservations are due to PSHS by Friday, January 12, 2018

Payment of cash or check is due at the door the day of the ceremony
