Plans for Plainfield Gastropub Move Forward

The Plainfield Village Board on Monday will vote on a liquor license for Sovereign, a farm-to-table gastropub planned for the former Bin 48 site at 24205 W. Lockport St.

Owner Rafael Gomez, who previously managed Tap House Grill, in May told Patch that he and girlfriend Jessica Watson hope to open Sovereign by mid-July in order to take advantage of the site's outdoor patio.

The village board meets at 7 p.m. at Village Hall, 24401 W. Lockport St.
