Police Want To Get Missing Dog Home For The Holidays

PLAINFIELD, IL — Police in Plainfield say they found a male Shih Tzu mix near the McDonald's at Route 30 and 135th street Thursday morning. He had a black collar and leash, but no tags or chip, they said.

"Look at the mug on this guy," the department posted to Facebook. "We're guessing if you've seen him in your neighborhood, you'd remember a face like this."

The dog has been turned over to Will County Animal Control, so if you he's yours or you know how to help get him home for the holidays, call 815-462-5633.
