Remote Learning In District 202, 308 On Tuesday Due To Snow
A winter storm warning remains in place for Will and Kendall counties, with up to 9 inches of snow. But some kids will still attend classes.
PLAINFIELD, IL — District officials announced that all Plainfield Community Consolidated School District campuses will be closed Tuesday due to hazardous road conditions and heavy snow — but it won't quite be a snow day.
District 202 spokesman Tom Hernandez said students "will engage in a remote, synchronous learning day" and should log on to remote classes at the usual time. There will be no in-person attendance on Tuesday but employees and administrators should report to work based on their contracts if it is safe to do so.
