Registration is not required for the free, all-ages program.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Get your steps in and have fun walking or running with fellow forest preserve fans during the fourth installment of the Forest Preserve District of Will County’s traveling “Reconnect with Nature Walk” series. The program will run from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 27, at Lake Renwick Preserve – Turtle Lake Access, located on Lockport Street, east of Division Street in Plainfield.
There will be distances for everyone’s pace and fitness level: 1 mile, 2 miles or 3.1 miles. Small-business partners will be on site with activities or merchandise. Recycle your old athletic shoes at the event. Get a giveaway for each walk, or complete all five walks to get a larger prize. Registration is not required for the free, all-ages program. Visit ReconnectWithNature.org for more information on this program or other forest preserve offerings.
