Truck Crash On I-55 Leads To Road Closures: Police

PLAINFIELD, IL — A truck crashed near Route 30 in Plainfield Monday, leading to closures of all southbound lanes of I-155, the Illinois State Police said in a release.

Officers responded to the scene of the crash on I-55, south of Route 30, after 10:30 a.m. The incident involved a truck tractor intermodal trailer, police said. Traffic was diverted from the interstate to Route 126.

"Please use extreme caution in the area," the state police said.
