Two New Plainfield Restaurants To Break The Cabin Fever
Have you tried either of these new restaurants? If so, leave a review in the comments.

PLAINFIELD, IL — It's cold, snowy and it gets dark way too early — we've probably got quite a bit of winter left, groundhog notwithstanding. So, if you're looking for something to break the cabin fever, why not try one of these great new restaurants?
Giambotta Pizza
This wood-fired pizzeria recently replaced Volar on Lockport Street in Plainfield's Historic Downtown District. Owned by Robert Rovito, who also owns nearby Capri Sogno, upgrades to the building passed the Village Plan Commission and Historic Preservation Commission last August. Renovations included creating a more prominent terrace, updating the building's facade with a large window to let in more natural light and offer a clear view of the wood-fired pizza oven, and stonework along the street.
Reviewers have called the restaurant "cozy" and praised the unique street foods on offer as well as the speed of service. Currently, Giambotta only has three reviews between Google and Yelp, but they're all five stars.
