ROCKFORD, IL — The River District Association wants you to "fall" for Rockford if you haven't yet done so during the Fall for Rockford free outdoor food and music festival, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sept. 22. This fall festival will take place in downtown Rockford along the 100 and 200 blocks of N. Main Street and will feature recording artists Adam Doleac and Jay Allen, reggae band UNITY, and Chicago pop artist Danielle Juhre.

You can "rediscover" Rockford’s as you walk through downtown’s historic River District while enjoying tastes from more than a dozen restaurants selling their signature menu items and free entertainment.

According to the event webpage, entry and entertainment are free, and Taste Tickets can be purchased for food, beverages and merchandise. If you plan to purchase beer or wine, a $1 ticket must be purchased with proof of a valid ID.
