Get Free 'Safe Ride Home' On New Year's: Winnebago Co. Sheriff
Winnebago County Sheriff's Deputies will provide free rides home during this time frame on New Year's Eve.

WINNEBAGO COUNTY, IL — In an effort to make sure you get home safely on New Year's Eve, Winnebago County Sheriff Gary Caruana announced Thursday the return of the "New Year's Eve Safe Ride Home Program," funded by LaMonica Beverage Company of Loves Park. Sheriff's deputies will provide safe rides on New Year's Eve (Dec. 31) from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Citizens who need a ride can call the non-emergency line at 815-282-2600.

The sheriff's office and LaMonica Beverage urge everyone to be responsible and drive safely during the holiday season.
