Loves Park Boy Invites Police Over For Doughnuts, Lemonade
Dressed head-to-toe as a little police officer, 6-year-old Hudson Stern got to hang out at his Loves Park home with local police.
ROCKFORD, IL — The Rockford Police Department is giving a shout-out to a young Loves Park boy who they say wanted to treat local police on Wednesday. Hudson Stern, 6, put on his own police uniform and invited officers to his house for lemonade and doughnuts, including Rockford Police Chief Dan O'Shea.
Police said Chief O'Shea was honored to meet this junior officer, as the video below shows the sweet fun.
The department said in a Facebook post they appreciate Hudson's thoughtful gesture.
