Police, FBI Seek Help ID'ing Rockford Bank Robbery Suspects

Authorities said the robbery happened Wednesday, Nov. 7 at Northwest Bank on North Rockton.

ROCKFORD, IL — The Rockford Police Department and the FBI are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect's involved in a Wednesday, Nov. 7 bank robbery. The police department said the robbery involving three suspects took place at 12:16 p.m. at Northwest Bank, 3109 North Rockton Avenue.

According to police, the FBI describes the unknown black suspects with the following details:

  • Suspect 1: Wore a gray backpack, dark jeans, and black winter coat
  • Suspect 2: Wore a gray Nike hooded sweatshirt, black pants
  • Suspect 3: Wore a black hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored jacket, gray sweatpants, black shoes

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered by the FBI for information leading directly to the arrest of the unknown suspects.
