Video: Hooded Thief Breaks Into Car In Rockford

ROCKFORD, IL — Here's a reminder of why it's good to lock your car doors.

In this video from 16th Street in Rockford as it appears on the Neighbors app, a hooded thief slowly walks up to a parked car and opens the front side door. The burglar then appears to turn on a light to look through the car for valuables.

The homeowner submitted the video to Neighbors on Thursday with the address of the incident and the message, "They continued across the street and into their cars."
