Jan. 27: A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive. Unknown person(s) broke the driver’s side door handle and took a backpack containing shoes, headphones and a hooded sweatshirt.

Feb. 9: A retail theft was reported in the 300 block of South Weber Road. Unknown person(s) took a fanny pack and various items of clothing with an approximate value of $262.00 from the business.
Arrests

Gerda Filipavicius, 29, of Romeoville, was arrested Jan. 31 at 3:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Autumn Woods Lane. She was charged with endangering the life of a child and bond was set at $1,000.

Joal Turrentine, 34, of Romeoville, was arrested Feb. 1 at 8 p.m. in the 400 block of North Weber Road. He was changed with battery and bond was set at $120.
