9 Acres On Black Road For Sale, But Is This Price Right?
This might be the time to buy land near Shorewood Home Depot on Route 59. After all, the new Aldi grocery store is under construction.

SHOREWOOD, IL — When you drive along Black Road in Joliet and Shorewood, you don't think of this busy corridor as still having large parcels of undeveloped land. But it does. However, one of the few remaining vacant parcels — more than 9 acres — is on the real estate market. The 9.3-acre property is available for $1.9 million.
It's being touted as commercial land and the property is zoned for businesses. The price per acre comes out to $204,521, the listing notes. According to LoopNet, the land sale includes one old house and various outbuildings that "have no contributory value" and are being sold "as is."
The undeveloped parcel at 24132 West Black Road is on the other side of Black Road from the Home Depot store. This summer, as thousands of Joliet Patch readers are aware, a new Aldi grocery store is being built on one of the Home Depot out lots.
