2018 Home Opener Could Be Coldest Ever For White Sox
Rain and snow flurries remain possible for the Chicago White Sox home opener at Guaranteed Rate Field.

CHICAGO, IL - Even though the weather doesn’t feel like it, it’s time for baseball on the South Side. The White Sox host their home opener Thursday afternoon against the Tigers.
It could be one of the coldest home openers the Sox have ever played, with temperatures expected to be around 38 degrees for the first pitch at 3:10 p.m. Light rain and snow flurries also are a possibility Thursday afternoon.
