Crash Causes Heavy Delays On The Dan Ryan During Rush Hour
A crash near 31st Street has caused delays for commuters using the Dan Ryan to get downtown Monday morning.
CHICAGO — A crash on the inbound Dan Ryan Expressway near 31st Street has slowed commute times for Monday morning drivers headed to work downtown.
Just before 8 a.m., three of the northbound express lanes were blocked by Illinois Department of Transportation crews, leaving only the far right lane open. As of 8:15 a.m. though, the express lane has reopened. "Heavy delays" continue beginning at Garfield Road however, according to WBBM.
The crash occurred on the center express lane, according to the WBBM Traffic report on Twitter.
