Dolton 149 Recognizes Student Crossing Guards

Dolton School District 149 student safety patrols were at the district's monthly board of education meeting last week to be honored.

(Calumet City, IL) – “Outstanding Achievement” awards were handed out to nine Dolton School District 149 student safety patrols at the district’s monthly board of education meeting last week.

Students Darrion Graham, Armani Rose Rice, Ariel Williams, Jasmine Bradley, Necole Campbell, Savannah Smith, Jebron Loffman, Diana Holmes, Jaylen Patterson, and Rhys Barnes attended the board’s October 24 meeting to receive their certificate.

“Student safety patrols wake up early every day to meet their commitment to ensuring their classmates and friends safely arrive at school and repeat that effort every day after school,” said Board President Darlene Gray Everett. “The board is very proud of these students and we wanted to recognize them.”
