Free Art Exhibit At Dorchester Art + Housing Collaborative
Six local artists will have their work featured on Saturday.

CHICAGO, IL - A free art exhibition will feature work from six local artists from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, May 26 at the Dorchester Art + Housing Collaborative.
"The artists in this event are an eclectic group which includes multi ethnicity and the special needs population," said Dorothy Straughter, a Beverly resident and one of the artists who will have work displayed at the event.
In addition to Straughter, the event - dubbed "More than Coffee Tea + Chat: An Art Exhibition" - will feature work from Fiona Craig, Mikel Ham, Nancy Wong, Marvin Young and Chuck Bledsoe.

Light fare will be served.
Coffee Tea + Chat is one of the oldest standing programs of the Rebuild Foundation, according to a Facebook event page. The program, comprised of a group of neighborhood residents and artists who are invested in revitalizing the community, meets weekly to chat over coffee and tea in the Dorchester Art + Housing Collaborative, 1456 E. 70th St. in Chicago.
