Sister Mary Jo Will Throw First Pitch For White Sox Again
The Marian Catholic nun who dazzled the nation earlier this summer with a perfect strike will try to do it again on Saturday.

CHICAGO, IL - While the Chicago White Sox have long been eliminated from playoff contention, there remains an aura of intrigue as the team wraps up its 2018 season. And not just because the playoff hopeful crosstown rival Chicago Cubs are coming to the South Side this weekend.
One of the most exciting moments of the Major League Baseball season could be due for an encore as the White Sox announced Wednesday that Sister Mary Jo Sobieck of Marian Catholic High School in south suburban Chicago Heights will throw out yet another ceremonial first pitch before the season is through. She's set to take the mound again before the White Sox-Cubs game scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 22 at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Game time is set for 6:10 p.m. Expect Sister MoJo to take the mound shortly before that. Chicago Bulls forward and Chicago native Jabari Parker will also throw out a first pitch before Saturday's game.
Standing room only tickets remain available for Saturday’s game, according to the White Sox. Stop by the Guaranteed Rate Field ticket office during regular business hours or call 866-SOX-GAME to secure one of the few remaining spots.
